Sense of smell

There's something to be said about our sense of smell. It has this amazing ability to alter our emotions in many situations.

I once read about a group of scientist that did this test with new born babies and their mothers. They first took a blanket from each of the babies cribs and had the mothers smell each piece of cloth and every single time, she knew which blanket was her baby's.

Then as each baby started to cry, they would take the child to let one of the mothers hold it. Once the actual mother of that child took it in to her arms, the infant would stop crying.

I think it's amazing how we can smell something and it can instantly calm our spirit, arouse our senses, stir our emotions, spark our memories, break our hearts or tickle our soul.

With all that being said, a while ago my "quasi" boyfriend gave me something that I think every girl should have if she's "seeing" someone. Something that will comfort you on those lonely nights when he's away...And maybe tempt him when he's there...

Every woman should get one of these from that special man in her life. I don't know if men understand how much we want one of these to keep in our bedroom.

This one thing can put a smile on our face and we'll ALWAYS think of him when we have this around...

The only problem is, sometimes they can kind of be a tight fit and you find that you might have to squeeze things together...

OK, I took a picture to try and give you a visual to maybe help you understand what I'm talking about...

There you have it. He gave me one of his t-shirts. It smells nice and it makes me smile! As I said, every woman should get a t-shirt from her man. We love that kind of thing, trust me.

WAIT, hold on, what did you think I was talking about?.... hahahha

Things that scare the crap out of me...

I know it's difficult and hard to believe that anything could scare me. But the truth is my friends, I'm a big, fat, scardy cat. It seems, a lot of things scare the crap out of me...

#1 I'm terrified of "Eunice MacCready" from that 1984 movie "
Cloak & Dagger". Remember that woman? She was the freak with only 3 fingers. She was pure evil and she wanted to hurt poor Davey Osborne. She was creepy and I had nightmares...and maybe I still do...

#2 When I was a little girl, I was afraid my house would catch on fire in the middle of the night and burn to the ground. So, I'd talk my sister in to helping me get all our stuffed animals in to bed with us just in case we had to make a quick run for the door. We'd be able to grab all our toys in one fell swoop without losing any. Genius, I know.

#3 I'm petrified of Clowns. Not just any clown, but "Penny-wise" from the book and movie "IT" seriously, I believe this clown is the devil himself. The really screwed up part about this is, I'm drawn to watching this movie. Whenever I'm at Blockbuster, I'll walk past this movie and I always stop and simply look at it. I'm to afraid to actually pick the movie up and look at the back... no I just stare at it. I think It has some type of evil supernatural power over me.

#4 "Yanni" scares the shit out of me! He plays the piano like the pied piper. It's like he's leading us all down the path to hell with beautiful earthy music. Have you ever looked in to his eyes? That grin that's always on his face! That long beautiful flowing hair, it's always blowing in the wind. Where does that wind come from??? I'll tell you, it's from the pits on HELL!!!

#5 "Dennis Kucinich" if that's his real name... Don't you see the resemblance between him and the "Leprechaun" from those horror movies? Aside from his trollish looks I know nada about this man. But, I do believe Dennis wants to use his three wishes to take over the world.

Folks, these are just a few of the things that scare the crap out of me usually on a daily basis. I'm just a frightened little girl in a voluptuous woman's body...

Black Wednesday

Yes, it's that time again, friends. Time to celebrate Black Wednesday! This year, I've decided to do something a little different...

This year, I'm not going to bash that other holiday which I'll call "VDay". I'm not going to talk bad, bash, make fun or point and laugh at the people who fall for the evil trap of that horrid commercialized day. The day where everyone rushes to buy crappy red roses, sappy cards and cheap chocolates with that nasty jelly filling...

No, instead I'm going to share with my fellow blogging friends my favorite "moment" from a movie.

As I'm sure most of you have seen the movie Amelie (I am proud to say that I own this masterpiece) Listen, if you haven't seen this amazing film, I suggest you rush out Today and buy it. What better time then now? No one else will be at Best Buy because they'll all be at Wal-mart frantically rummaging through piles and piles of cheesy "VDay" cards attempting to find that "perfect one"... when chances are 500 other people found that same impersonal card you THOUGHT was the "perfect one". So, it should be a very quick, stress free shopping trip!

Anyway, this scene comes close to the end of the movie and it's by far one of the sweetest moments in film history. Every time I see this scene it makes me smile and giggle like a school girl.

Enjoy...

Something else I'd like ask each of you. Have you ever found yourself in the movie theater or in the privacy of your own home watching a movie... as you're sitting there, minding your own business, all of a sudden a movie trailer comes on that totally stirs your insides...making them tingle with delight... then without warning you find yourself completely aroused and you don't even know why?...

What, this, this hasn't happened to you?... Really?...Seriously?......

Let me explain. I never know when these arousing previews will happen...simply out of the blue one of these stimulating film previews will appear and I'm so freakin' turned on, I don't know what to do! I'm captivated by the images and sounds right before my eyes. It takes everything in my power not to jump up and shout in orgasmic pleasure, YES!!! OH YES! OH MY GOD, YESSSSS!!!

Take this next clip I'm about to share with you. It really isn't something I'd label "romantic" or "heartwarming"... Well, I'll let you be the judge. Let's see if you can keep from shouting out with pleasure after watching this piece...

(make sure your speakers are on and loud)

GOOD LORD! Was it good for you?

Wooooo! I need a drink of water after that, my mouth is a bit dry...

HAPPY BLACK WEDNESDAY, EVERYONE!!!

Sex, Lies, Videotapes & the Secretary

My blogging friends, I've been sheltered. I'm 28 years old, and I'm just now starting to see the light. I had no idea there were so many good...no Great erotic movies out there. I work in the media, you'd think I'd have known this and had a pretty good respected knowledge of these films. But sadly, I didn't...not until recently....

Recently I've been introduced to a couple of films I never thought I'd see with my sweet, impressionable, innocent eyes. That was until my pseudo boyfriend introduced me to these movies... (now I can't stop thinking about them. I kinda think he did it on purpose...) Anyway, the first movie that has really impressed, intrigued me and stimulated my intellectual senses is a movie called "Sex, Lies, and Videotape "

Now, I remember when this movie came out in 1989. I was under the impression, as any young mind would think, this was a very, very naughty film, maybe even a porn... OH MY GOD!

Well folks, I was wrong. This was an independent film that tells the story of a man who films women discussing their sexual experiences and fantasies on camera.

I know, I know it does sound like yet another mind numbing erotic thriller, with no plot and bad acting. But it's not like that, it's so much more. I found myself enlightened and enthralled with the characters. All of the players in this film are hit with the grim reality that not accepting responsibility accomplishes nothing....They all engage in a form of permanent self destruction and it's wild!

It's an amazing film and I enjoyed it...I was also extremely turned on...

"Secretary" is yet another movie in which I was just recently seduced or I mean introduced to watch. This movie follows a smart, quirky woman in her twenties who finds a job as a secretary in a local law firm. Soon developing a crush on her older boss. Their really bizarre, yet very sexy relationship, she follows her deepest longings to its heights and finally to a place of self-affirmation.

This movie is genius in it's own right. Although I wouldn't watch this movie with my parents, or most of my friends... it's a great movie to be seen in the dark quietness of your living room or bedroom with your significant other while naked...

There's some pretty erotically intense moments in this movie and it seems to stimulate and arouse your senses without even showing any type of sexual scene, It's truly a beautiful work of art.

Go ahead, watch this movie with your mate, you'll be "shining" the next morning....trust me on this one...HA!
