Well, SCREW YOU!!!
As you all know, I've started this "Blog Explosion" adventure recently. Well, I'm here to tell you that for the last week, I've been trying to get someone to allow me to be a tenet for their stupid blog. I've been denied not 1, not 2, not even 3, but 6 fucking times!!!! That's right folks, no one will let me rent! I'm being discriminated against to the fullest extent of the cyber world! To tell you the truth, I believe it's because I'm only half white. Well, SCREW YOU!!! Look, I'm not one to pull out the cyber race card, but this is getting really ridiculous! I'm positive it's not because my blog isn't worth reading. Who wouldn't want to read my blog? It's top quality. It's full of wit and intriguing stories about me! I'm guessing these "Other" bloggers are to afraid I'll take the spot light away from their own writing.
That's right, I said it. Listen, someone had to. Someone needs to get this out in the open and that someone is ME!
You know what, don't allow me to rent space on your dummy blog! Don't come back and ask me now! I refuse to be your store front! I won't be associated with people who don't like half & halfs?
Now if you would please excuse me, I'm gonna go see if I can find someone who will rent some blog space to a caramello...

I get rejected most of the time. Don't take it personally, I only get about 1 in 10 that I bid on. Just to make you geel better, I am voting for you in this battle.

I think you should switch to calling yourself Breve... it's much more 21st Century with Starbucks making it a more commonly used adjective to describe a drink made with halfNhalf.
Half & Half is too wordy anyway. It makes you sound unsure of who you are. "Half or Half? Which one is it? I don't know, I'm both... I'm confused...Where am I? Don't follow me, I'm lost and you'll get lost too..."

RevRee, welcome to BE! Don't worry about the denied thing -- people usually get 10+ bids from blogs wanting their space and a lot of times, they will rent to people who they read/know well. This week seems to be exception, but I usually only get accepted one time for every five blogs I bid on. DON'T GIVE UP! :)

I don't know what a blog explosion is, but I do enjoy a half and half.

Both BE and Blogmad work on the principle that you get return visits for surfing through other members blogs - which is fine if you have a lot of time spare to surf - or you can also buy credits for cash if you dont.
I have been with BE for several months and they have returned between 15/20 readers a day .... I have allocated 1000 credits to my account and have 2500 banked to use if I want. No point in adding them to the BE queue as that does not seem to feed through the readers any quicker.
Blogmad on the other hand fed me through 30 plus on the first day - some of them before I received the email confirmation. For me or anyone with limited surfing time BM makes much more sense as they give a better view return and they queue the readers up for you much more promptly. (ie you get to see the reward for your surfing much quicker).
I have no doubt that things will change and possibly level out over time but it will be interesting to see how things develop and see if blogmad can continue to overtake BE.

I've had a lot of rejections.. and a lot of acceptances... it just depends on the day, the people... blah blah.. it's nothing personal.

Since the blogs that don't charge enormous amount of credits typically get 10-30 applicants, there's going to be a lot more folk turned away than accepted. Unless you have an exceptional blog, your chances of getting accepted are less than 10%. That's like trying to get into Harvard! LOL
The lesson? Just keep on trying!
I have been denied a grand whopping total of 50 times and only been accepted 3. WTF?? Girl, I feel your pain. Tell ya what...if you're interested, I'll reserve a space for ya on my site next week. Love your blog!
ROFL.. that's right sister! It's race related.. I know I get turned down all the friggin' time ..cuz I'm white dammit! *LOL*
Anyway-- as it works.. when ya have 30 people bid and you're going through them.. you pick one and it denies everyone else.. after all --you can only pick one. I think people see the one they want and we don't all get read before the choosing occurs.
