Smoke 'em if ya got 'em!...

So a good friend of mine suggested I join this Cigar Smoker’s forum he belongs to. He thought it would be a good way for me to meet some people from my area. Apparently, there are quite a few cigar smokers in my neck of the woods, not to mention quite a few MALE cigar smokers! HA!

It will be like a 99% ratio of men and I’d be that 1% female…now, I’m not good at math but if my calculation is correct, that’s like a win, win situation for me!

So, I’ve joined this little forum and so far, it’s pretty cool! Basically this club of cigar smokers, trade cigars and send each other different types of smokes for each other to try. And every now and then get together to smoke a few and drink!

I don’t know a damn thing about cigars and the very few times I’ve tried smoking one, it felt like my chest was about to collapse. I’m thinking I’ve been smoking them wrong and I’m willing to give it another try. I’m hoping these men will help me learn how to “suck” in that sweet cigar smoke and enjoy that wonderful taste.

I do however; know about drinking and I really could use a drink!

I’d really like to be like those really sexy chicks you see in the ads smoking a cigar! That’s so HOT!

I was just looking on Wikipedia and found the definition for Cigar Smoking,

“A tightly-rolled bundle of dried and fermented tobacco, one end of which is lit with a match or lighter so that it produces smoke that can be drawn into the mouth. This smoke is usually not inhaled, but rather "puffed" out. The word cigar is from the Spanish word cigarro, which the Oxford English Dictionary suggests is a variation on cigarra, Spanish for cicada due to their shape, especially that of what is now called the perfecto.”

Anyway, the groups of cigar smokers in my area are having a “meeting” Friday night. So, I’m toying with the idea of attending... ya know, just to see what it's all about. Don’t worry; my good friend who I know “personally” knows these people, actually he doesn’t live to far from my area so he might even attend as well, to be my escort so to speak. I promise, I'll be safe!

This, folks is the beginning of my new social life, we’ll see how it goes!
