Mesh Man

I want you all to take a good look at this man. I see this man every now and then hanging out at the bars. He's in his late 40's to mid 50's. As you can see he's wearing a mesh shirt, with matching mesh gloves.

I tried to get a frontal shot, but he was just too quick for me. I'm not sure what possessed this sad man to wear such a thing, but this isn't the first time! He struts down the sidewalk, shaking his money maker. I can almost hear "Stayin' Alive" playing each time I see him.

You have all been warned, don't become this man! He was once happily married, for over 25 years! The man has children for goodness sakes! Now he dances down the street, in search of young hot men, wearing mesh clothing. What is this world coming too? God help up all!

Victims of Hurricane Katrina?

I went out the other night with a couple of friends for a drink. We're sitting out on the patio bar and not 1, not 2 but 3 separate people come up to our table from the street to ask for money.

Each one claiming to be a "victim" of hurricane katrina. One guy said " I don't want no money, I just need to get some pampers...my lady said I can't come home unless I bring home pampers for the babies. Now I don't care what you do, but I need you to give me some money for pampers. I'm going to sit right here and we all going to figure out how to get some pampers."

We're all sitting there, we all start saying we don't have any money. He goes on to say..."Now, my ONLY guilty pleasure is if I could have one of your smokes (he was talking to the guy sitting next to him)" So, one of my friends hands him a smoke. He grabs the lighter from my friend with out asking and lights his cig.

I'm sitting there about to laugh my ass off! This guy wouldn't get up, he just sat there, saying over and over again. I can't go home with out some pampers. FINALLY since the guy wouldn't leave, we all just decided to get up and move to another table inside.

Before I walked in, I handed him a dollar. I'm not sure I should have done that, but I felt it was right at the time.

The point of this story, was this guy or any of the others REALLY hurricane Katrina victims??? I'm sick of people asking for money, using a national tragedy as their "story". Just tell me the damn truth!
